Considering leaving AWOL.

Hey guys.



I'm really getting very peeved about all the recent AWOL things goin' on.


1. Cube leaving. Cube was one of my favourite AWOL people, and I'd always look to him if I had trouble. (So him leaving really puts you in the dirt, eh.)

2. Everyone in AWOL is very nasty to everyone. It's a complete lie that AWOL is a friendly community.


3. Easy has been a big pig head lately, (More than usual) and it seems that he's had some emo problem or something.



So, unless you give me a good reason, I'm leaving.

I don't see what Cube leaving has anything to do with your decision to leave AWOL, tbh, if he's on your steam buddylist there shouldn't be a problem.

I've yet to see, well hear, anyone within AWOL be a mega assface to anybody within AWOL.

Also if easy's having "emo problems" and it's offending you, you can always take it with a smile. If something's offensive to you, take it with a smile, move on.

That's my opinion which is about as valuable as the nexts person.

I don't think it's fair that everyone who isn't in AWOL on any of the AWOL servers is treated like a moron/idiot/fag, etc. They're have just as much rights as I do. (I don't seem to have any, just statin')


So yes. I think I'd like to change my dedicated time and effort to "please" you all, and put it all in the =AmgC=. They seem to be a lot better.

Why doesn't Awol do anything, I know it's a little off topic but recently it has become a tad... Boring. I mean we don't war, we don't have events, we don't even storm ic-rp like we used to. Just my thoughts.

Alezacool, which servers are you talking about when you say the non-AWOL's are treated unfairly. Are you are talking about the (no longer existing) CS server? Or the Gmod servers? I have played on the RP server quite a lot and very rarely (with a few exceptions) have I seen any non-AWOL people treated bad unless they were minging or spamming.

The CS server is fine, seeing so how it's run by Cube, and is non-AWOL.

On the RP server, if Midnight or someone else in AWOL minges, it's just treated by a "lol", and I think it's unfair.

That is because awol own the servers.. Look i don't mean to sound like an asshole but honestly.. Sylver and easy pay for the servers for awol members to have fun on. Have you played sandbox with awol lately? All awol just have fun.

I think that you have not given any evidence as to why you are leaving awol. I agree that easy can be a umm... a pig head sometimes but that is easy. We love him for wat he is.. I don't see a change in how he has been acting since i met him.

Also can u please say a specific incident? I mean i don't know of any incidents that awol has treated anyone like shit. On the other hand... I have seen awol members help the other people that have joined the server. I mean some dude launched a rocket and destroyed easy's prop and he just said lol... then i did it and KIK (i also did some other things lol, also i am not complaining i am just saying how everyone is treated fairly.)

Now about the events thing. Yes awol has declined latly in events. There are a few main reasons for this.

1) Korpse wrecked stranded
2) Mech Rp has been taken down
3) Everyone in awol doesn't play parkour really. Apart from uno and occaitionally other memebers.
4) I HATE IC (lol just saying,,, cause i am banned)

Now i also honestly think that awol still has heaps of events going on. We play warcraft 3 games nightly. We also play gmod constantly and you can find nearly an awol on the sandbox or parkour at all times.

I suggest us having maybe every saturday night just getting on and having a contraption building competition like on miltons. That would get traffic for the server and that would also mean more community awol stuff. Now i have another suggestion. I think that we should make it so that we have forum competitions. Maybe like best screenshot competition. Then that gets posted on the MOTD in game. Or maybe on the homepage. Just small stuff to keep us active..

I don't really know Alezacool that much but some of the stuff you guys said seems a bit harsh. However I don't really disagree with it. People do need to be active in AWOL but it seems to be kind of hard considering we haven't had any in-game events since I joined.

OMG these are like the best and most simple ideas I have ever heard (Congrats Bith). I really think AWOL should consider doing this because it would give us a great chance continue doing things actively as a clan. Also I have noticed lately that some of the older members are thinking that AWOL no longer has that sort of sentimentality of all the members being really close together. I believe that small events like this would give the newer members (like myself) an excellent opportunity to get to know people. And even though I would never win a best contraption competition (because I fail at building) :( I would still really enjoy it and would love to take part in it. I apologize for going way off topic but I just needed to say it :)
