AWOL members Starting their own CSS clans

HI just me.

It has occurred to me that some AWOL members are playing in opposing css teams. and Not wearing our tag in pub games.

Now call me old fashioned/ To serious/ Even a wanker but....

I believe that loyalty to your community / clan should be a prerequisite of joining AWOL. Why join a gaming community if u don't want to be associated with them?!?

It is very frustrating to think that we/ I organize and sustain a css server for AWOL and put the effort that a lot of us have into waring and gaming together ( which i assume has been fun for all ) if we have AWOL members who play css regularly but don't contribute to the css team/server. Instead they are part of opposing teams on the GA ladder .. Yes The Enemy.

LOYALTY and RESPECT.

My opinion is " MAKE A CHOICE " US or Them

I agree loyalty i believe is quite key to clans and communitys, you dont see half of america slutting for the arabs to fucking jihad everything. Either stay and be loyal or fuck off, awol does not want your whoring filth.

I agree too... I'm not part of AWOL (yet), but I still think that if you're going to compete for other teams in ranked ladders, then why are you part of AWOL?

It has always been a rule of AWOL that you cant join more then 1 clan while being in ours. Otherwise people just want the tag to use every now and then and such.

If people are in more then one clan atm i ask you the same question as Ted.

Otherwise i agree completetly with awol clan tags needing to be displayed.

So what's the rule on this? You caught tagged as another you get kicked forever? And what about if a friend says "Hey, can you fill in for my clan in a war?" Not saying that I war or anything but would you get kicked for that?

lol? i was the fourth person in awol... i went away on holidays for a week after playing in mids gmod server and cube, easy and sylver had started a tf2 clan... so i got tf2 and i was in.... me, easy, sylver and cube... first 4 awol members... then mid came in...

The reason it wasn't much of an issue before was because AWOL never had a CSS warring section, now we do, so its become a bit of a problem.

I'm in agreement with this conversation.
the -=AWOL=- Tag should be the first tag to have priority.

If the clan is for CSS for a mod that AWOL wouldn't compete in (GunGame, Wc3, etc.) Then i think it would be alright to be in that clan.
So basically here's what i've been saying: It's my opinion, not official.
CS:S = Wear the AWOL tag
CS:S gungame, wc3 clans = Optional to wear the tag.

Hi I've been reading this thread for a bit and I just wanted to say that I agree and that I think people should wear the AWOL tag as priority, even if they are in other clans. I am only in AWOL at the moment however I think that there should be some leeway. For example the other day I helped a friends clan in a war (I played horribly but I made up the 5), whilst I was doing this I used his tag (because he asked me to) and straight after I changed back. I don't really see a problem with this but if it breaches this loyalty requirement then I would much rather never war with other peoples clans then leave AWOL lol

Ok well this thread has been dead for a while but.. I would have to say the i think that -=AWOL=- tags shouldn't have to be warn in css unless waring. BUT. You shouldn't go war with another clan and ditch awol. No matter how long you have been with awol. Like i don't mind if u war with them just as long as it isn't against awol. Just my thought.
