Who Loves AWOL ? ( THE FEEL GOOD THREAD)

OK .. I've just been reading through all our threads and posts and it got me a little down. So Much Negativity :( and the worst part is most of us have been negative towards each other and the community at one point or another ( yeah its the way we are i know :P)

I feel this dosn't put forward the best IMAGE to the public so im going to counteract that with this thread.

I want it to be used for positve feedback to each other and the greater web about how enjoyable being part of this community is and can be.

"The FEEL GOOD THREAD" add anything positive about AWOL and your AWOL experience. Relax and reflect on the good times!!

Ive been with AWOL for about 2 yrs now and have enjoyed every bit of it.
The group contains alot of great characters and committed members. As with all gaming communities some ppl don't always click with core AWOL members but that's part of what makes this community fun and enjoyable. (we are slightly different !) Once the ego's and attitudes fall, AWOL members are genuinely good people / kids and the range of ages within the group is a testimony to the high level of social maturity the the community has.

That should start the feel good juices flowing.

Umm on second calculation ... i have been with AWOL approx 1 and a half yrs ... not 2 .

I love that we can be serious when it's needed, but we can also take the piss out of each other and take it as much as we dish it.

That and playing TF2/gmod(/css :rolleyes:) with people you know (and are pretty good) is much more fun than random pubing.

I love that we are a clan that acctually plays it's servers, with the people playing them. Unlike others I won't mention we acctually engage with the people on our servers and on other servers. This probably contributes to the fact that we get so many people wanting to get into AWOL, and even though we may not always get along, we have mutual relationships with other clans and groups.

Well i'd have to say my best experience involving AWOL was when i got into AWOL, i was actually happy ^__^; Then shortly after that like maybe a week or so i got admin on the Parkour Server which was great cause i could ban all the people i wanted, within reason with no Perma-bans because i didn't feel it was within my authority, but that aside.

Being in AWOL just generally makes me glad that i got in ^__^; and again, thanks all~

I love AWOL because everyone (Yes, even easy on occaison) is nice and no one is constantly a dickhead like in other clans I've been in!

I love how AWOL has taken its own direction and evolved into other games.
The fact that we can organise a match of something almost immediately is impressive, and we co-ordinate so well, that it makes everything we do so much fun.

We've picked up a lot of developers, team leaders and real pro's for a ton of different games. The sheer diversity is wicked sick.

I reckon awol would have to be the best aussie gmod clan. Honestly. Like we are mainly a gmod clan. Well i think. If you look at the server list. Everyone are communities we are an actual clan. I think we should elaborate on this once we get our box (if we do). Then we should put heaps more stuff about improvements about joining our forum.
If we can get more people joining our forum and making it a decent community then we would grow even more.

Also i love how i joined awol just to know the stranded glitches and it has turned into a fun love love fun orgy of funny love.. lol.
