Hello, earlier today, someone came onto the server, and wanted to crash it, i got his steam ID there were other players on the server, who i can refer to for extra evidence.

#591 "DC[2nd-DRP]#GetMoneyGetPaid" STEAM_0:1:26932668 22:49 627 38 active

other players i can refer, for proof of this actions happening
Robert
NeTSet77.sh
Solid Snake
DJ

and this person was egging it on
normastits

this action, of attempting to crash a server, is not tolerated by players in the community, because script kiddies, deserve to be banned, if the scripts, are used for bad causes.

Yours Sincerely Sephiroth

Much appreciated for the heads up.

May I ask how he was planning on crashing the server? I'm not too clear on that point.

I'll vouch for this. I was there and I'm fairly certain that DC[2nd-DRP]#GetMoneyGetPaid did it. Almost directly after he mentioned he was about to crash the server it became laggy for the entire server. I'm not to sure myself on how he had done this (seeing as how i don't spend much time crashing servers).

As far as I know, people use special scripts developed for crashing servers which pings the server hundreds of times within a small amount of time. That was the way somebody explained it to me, but I could be wrong.

That is similair if not a ddos (i think) lol.

Most likely unless he is a spoilt little shit with tons of interwebs you can't do that to a server. I am guessing he was using a console command exploit. Where the client runs a certain console command and it lags the server when run constantly.

Where was i...
oh right lol i will keep an eye out for shnanigans.

Yeah, that's a DOS attack. Which can't be done very well to Juiced any more.

Yeah probably a DOS attack, not a DDOS attack. DDOS Attacking needs control of multiple computers and their IPs and internet, where as DOS Attacking only needs your computer, but it no where near as effective. Unless of course I'm getting my acronyms mixed up.
