Tool Shed Thread - For Mech

This thread is written for the circumstances that the Tool Shed will:

No Trophy

Include Purchasable Upgrades

The Tool Shed will be a buildable structure which serves as a mean to store any tools built by it's user. Tools for violence and construction.


Tool Shed structure cost. - This will be a fixed cost
500 Stone
500 Copper
500 Iron
5 Refined Diamonds

First tool shed people build will be at level 1, simply meaning is maximum slots for holding weapons is 1. As your Tool Shed reaches higher levels, it can store more tools (up to 8).

In terms of upgrades we can have two options, fixed costs or just have a gradually increasing price as the tool shed level increases.

For fixed, this should balance out so that it still requires the same amount of effort to get as it would with varied upgrade prices.

Fixed costs for all upgrades. This can basically involve similar efforts required in getting some trophies. Mainly it'll seem like a lot at first but some people may prefer this way.

25 Refined Diamonds
1,000 Stone

OR

Varied costs for each upgrade. These upgrades have to be purchased in order. from two slots all the way up to eight slots. Mech, make sure that happens.

500 Stone
500 Copper
500 Iron

Four Slots
15 Refined Diamonds
750 Stone
750 Copper

Five Slots

Six Slots
25 Refined Diamonds
1,250 Stone
1,250 Copper
1,250 Iron

Seven Slots
50 Refined Diamonds
1,500 Stone
1,500 Copper
1,500 Iron

Eight Slots
75 Refined Diamonds
1,750 Stone
1,750 Copper
1,750 Iron

I've added up the total Refined Diamonds for each:
Fixed = 175 Refined Diamonds
Varied = 200 Refined Diamonds

Couldn't be fucked adding up the othe materials, due to the allowance of cloning them. Also, these prices may seem rather "WTFBBQ I CANT GET THAT!!!1!!!" ... Keep in mind the Tool Shed is a rather sexy part of the Stranded Structure List, AND these are permanent upgrades.

And besides, I'm almost certain you guys will find buddies, drones and children to help you / take advantage of thoughout the process of upgrading your Tool Shed.

I like it.

Although is will cost more and be harder to get, as it is permanent, I believe the idea of an increasing price will be a lot better.

Like you mentioned, people can assist in helping people build these.

3 things,
1) its a tool rack not tool shed
2) the tool rack has a fair resource price
3)the tool rack has a tool loss problem, we need to save ours tools

anything besides those things but would be a good addition, will be fine by me, otherwise no change will be ok too(but still requiring the tool loss fix).

and also, Mech, DONT ACCEPT THE RESOURCE PRICE RAISE! PLEASE! IT WOULD TAKE LONGER FOR ME TO BUILD IT! that would suck, i dont want to wait longer =(
