Css server

CSS SERVER IS NOW UP.

I have tryed to get Deathmatch running on the server unsuccessfully.
Anyone who can offer help in this matter pls contact me. I'm sure im overlooking something basic.

Anyways server is up anyone who wants specific maps uploaded dont hesitate to let me know.

Also anyone interested in wars drop us a line 2.

I can help, just make sure that your admin mod, EventScripts or SourceMod, and MetaMod are all installed, if that is the way you're doing it. If you need any specific help, just ask.

I have installed Sourcemod and Meta Mod. ( to the best of my knowledge)

i know meta mod is installed because i can attain a list of mods from the console by typeing "meta"

however i guess i havnt installed source mod properly because meta cant find it .

I think i'll need someone else to have a go.. and let me know where i went wrong.

I guess i have miss placed Source mod in the fileing system.

Although i have run css servers b4 (My RCON knowledge is extensive) I havnt yet had the pleasure of being able to upload mods to the server myself. HELP .. lol

ok i think i found my problem.... not at my comp atm so can someone confirm this ??

when bringing up the meta mod list i need to give the command "meta" to the server console. ie "rcon meta" and not to the local console ie "meta"

OK ... i have installed metamod successfully but it cant find sourcemod although i believe i did it correctly.

Easy , sylver , Alucard, Uno , Midnight and clarky have all been part of the team in the past although clarky and Mid seemed to not be around too much nemore..

I think Artea has played with us before to and maybe Spiffy cant remember.

Haha if only we could war on office. I would happily take a 1v5 :P Anyway I will prac up on d2/prodigy/train etc over the next few days and hopefully I wont be too much of a liability :P

Well my thoughts are -> We get a set leader, then play each map that is a potential war map. Then vote on what map to make our main map (which will probably be d2 but it might be nice to see if any others make it) and we get to strategizationing and practicing. I am happy to lead if needed but obviously superted has first pref if you want it. Apart from that it's really just about learning some good strategies for our playing styles and learning to play together as a team. Also I would like to see us war more regularly. Even if it is only scrims it would be nice to get more practice in.

I am happy to lead in game calls once we all know what those calls mean. We have had troubles befor by appointing the "best" player lead. I know clarky ....LOL u fool clarky ... couldnt make his mind up to save his life .... however was the best player at the time. I am also happy to hand the raines to Umbra if you are confident and clear with the way you read the game and how u call strats . Sometimes other players will get better reads of different teams .. and different maps ... so we should take it on a week by week basis ... i think .... let me know. THE LAST THING YOU WANT IS FOR YOUR BEST PLAYER TO BE DISTRACTED FROM WHAT HE DOES BEST >>> IE KILLS .

War on Sunday is fine, just give me a time and we should be all set.
And don't appoint me leading ever, I'll just get us all killed. Give me a target you don't like and making it disappear is my specialty.

We can play on ours, time seems to be 7:30pm Melbourne Time. Their map preferences is one of the de_dust maps.

I am good with that. By the way I have no experience in leading a team but I am confident in my ability to form the best strategies that are needed at the time. Obviously I will need time to play some of the more popular war maps and I would prefer if we have some training sessions before we war seriously for the first time. Is this war tomorrow going to be a scrim or a war? Because I don't think it would be wise to go for a real war so quickly. Anyway I am happy either way I can follow and I believe I can lead so whatever is best for the team I am with that.

However just one thing that I think strongly of is that if we do have a leader we have one leader and his calls go regardless of who it is. I don't know about you guys but I would rather our whole team follow a leader into a bad call rather then be divided by multiple suggestions from everyone. At least that way if we do lose we can then look at the call made and determine why it was not the best and improve from there.
